TeamSport Bristol Avonmouth

TeamSport Bristol Avonmouth gave me a friendly welcome, reliable petrol karts and an entertaining indoor circuit. The slippery surface made it a real challenge, and I certainly found the limits when I crashed out.

Arrival and booking

The staff explained things clearly and made me feel welcome. A three-for-two offer was presented as either three sessions or two longer sessions; our group chose the longer sessions. I would have preferred that choice to be clearer during booking.

The changing rooms smelled sweaty on my Friday visit. That was one area where the facilities could have made a better impression.

The circuit and karts

The petrol karts performed reliably, and the low grip made the racing lively and demanding. With around 20 drivers on track during my visit, there was plenty happening.

The marshals were upbeat, friendly and helpful. Their attitude contributed a lot to the atmosphere and made the experience enjoyable even when my own driving did not quite go to plan.

Facilities and value

The trackside code lockers were convenient. The kitchen was closed when I visited, but drinks and snacks were available at reasonable prices.

Membership discounts were explained during my visit. Check the official website for current session formats, prices, offers and membership terms rather than relying on the arrangements I was offered.

My verdict: 3 out of 5 green lights

I would consider returning. The slippery track, reliable karts and friendly marshals made this an entertaining visit, with room to improve the changing facilities and booking information.
